Kamara return to their own label 'Metamorphosa' for their 5th label release, hot on the heels of two EP's in quick succession on Christian Smith's legendary Tronic. Having now released on a handful of world class labels including Tronic, Sudbeat, Bush, Detone and others, Metamorphosa is their home base where they can broaden their style, release music to their own A&R liking, and in the case of this release break a new acts, namely fellow Dutch artist Colin S, who features on a remix.

'The Bird' is a signature Kamara track, which has a balance of the urgency of techno, and their trademark flashes of melody. The track has a rolling rhythm section that locks you into the groove, before an arpeggiated synth line builds the intensity in the breakdown before dropping back into a heads down work out for the ravers. One for the big dancefloors this summer!

Colin S takes on the remix duties, with a melodic techno rework on 'The Bird' that's a few BPM slower, yet captures it's own vibe perfectly with extra synthesis, and a different yet complementary vibe to the original. One for the more melodic sets but still full of emotion and energy. A highly impressive debut.
